" Late Post "

I really liked my outfit this day . - Tupac Shirt - Baby Blue Button Up - Navy Blue Cotton Leggings - Red Toms (one of my favorite pairs of shoes)

" April 23rd "

People that personally know me, follow me on instagram (@saynomor_) or twitter (@morganNic_) know that I completely LOVE a woman by the name of Robyn Rihanna Fenty, and it's been that way for some years now. But anyways, April 23rd she's coming to Atlanta :) so of course i'll be there. I'm excited about this for two reasons, first off because it's Rihanna, that's enough reasoning right there second is that I'm really planning on a pretty nice outfit for that night . So, stay tuned for that ;)

" Tommy Hilfiger "

The 'alternative' to Tommy Hilfiger for those that do believe the urban legend Tommy Hilfiger has always been a brand that i've liked, why i'm not really sure ... maybe because as a child I was forced to wear it, or maybe because i'd see people like Aaliyah in it back in the early 2000's , a lot of people that I know, that are black would object to wearing it because of the urban legend that Thomas Hilfiger, the creator of the brand was racist against blacks, which in my opinion i don't think is true. But yeah, just one of my personal favorite brands. An image that always come to mind in my head when thinking of Tommy Hilfiger

" That one oversized sweater that's just TOO big "

" Hey , I'm Morgan "

Hey . Add caption So , I was thinking . . I didn't really give a proper introduction to who I am , and why I created my blog so that's what i'll take the time to do. My name is Morgan, i'm black w| a little bit of something else. i was born in Florida on the 11th day of October to a pair of the best parents you could ask for. Since I was a little kid there were only 4 things I was always sure I liked, that was sports , music , food & fashion. Today, 16 years later that's about the same. I've always liked fashion and what people were wearing. For a while I'd have these great outfit ideas in my head, but never really be able to take those ideas out of my head and wear them, I guess you could say. I'd see people like Teyana Taylor, Aaliyah, and Vashtie Kola (along with some others along the way) and get inspired by people like them to express my sense of style to the world.  But after a few years of discovering what I like to wear, and how I lik...

" What Did You Wear Today ? "

- St. Louis Cardinals Jersey (which happened to have my last name on the back of it) - Grey Tank - Patterned Leggings - Red Rope Toms - Plain black baseball cap

" Springtime "

harem sweatpants In the oh so southern state of Georgia, spring has abrubtly arrived . . so the question is , what trends will come with these sunny skies and nice weathered days ? While a lot of dark colors, "kilts", and leather apparel have been "in" right now, will this last ? For spring to be a season of bright, welcoming colors and light fabrics will we trade that in for thick, dark , clothes ? For me, atleast I know it'll be a time for one of my favorite things : crop shirts, harem pants, and light wash worn denim. My personal prediction for the "theme" of spring would be "comfortable" which really is just simple outfits, maybe a tank some shorts and sneakers, not anything extravagant that I've seen a lot of during the fall and winter season.

"Stairway to Heaven"

A blend of boredom a pair of old shoes , and some sharpie .

"Sense of Fashion"

Kristen Noel Gipson When I think of myeslf . . and my personal sense of fashion the first thing that comes to mind is tomboy meets just a small bit of "girly. It's hard to explain verbally, but I think of myself as a younger fashion drone of people like Vashtie Kola, & a milder version of Kristen Noel Gipson, who you may also know as Kdia, you may not know either at all, if not I suggest researching the both of them even if their style isn't your "cup of tea" it's always great to be open to many different types of a certain thing. Knowing what your sense of fashion is, I think is a great way to differentiate yourself from everyone else, atleast from those who are just wearing something to fit in . Knowing what you like to wear helps you to become more of yourself, which can be helpful for some of the people still trying to find themselves. Vashtie Kola

"The Hypebeast"

When you think of a hypebeast, in the culture that surrounds you . . what comes to mind ? Any particular trends that it seems that everyone follows ? Whether it's a fashion trend, to a drug trend. . anything ? While some people struggle with people trying to "be cool" by doing things with illegal substances, or sexual things . . the all too common "hypebeast" of this generation is the one that copies everything they see in music videos, tv, and any other areas for ..... "inspiration". It's sort of like, now everyone is trying to express themselves through their clothes, their fashion, but it's hard to realize that when everyone looks exactly the same. While I'm not objecting to majority of peoples new found love for fashion, the question comes to mind.... are you buying these things, wearing these things because you like them . . and these clothes define your fashion intrests or because your new favorite music artist has it so now you feel ...

One last update on me .... Lol

I just happen to like these few pictures ... Thought I'd share them with you all :)

Then v. Now

Well , here's a then & now type of picture . I am her , she is me . My name is Morgan, for anyone who was unaware .

It's been a while .

So , for a few years now . . I'd try to remember my information for my blogspot (which I now see is no longer the name), but today I thought I'll just create a new one just to recover my old one :) it's been almost 4 years now (crazy how time flies ha), plenty of things have changed . . except my passion for fashion, along with arts. Which is the reason for my blog . I'll post like a then and now of me just so my followers can get a more 'personal' I guess, feeling when they read my things, but other than that this is my thoughts ... on the internet. :) - Yours truly . . .
