When you think of a hypebeast, in the culture that surrounds you . . what comes to mind ? Any particular trends that it seems that everyone follows ? Whether it's a fashion trend, to a drug trend. . anything ? While some people struggle with people trying to "be cool" by doing things with illegal substances, or sexual things . . the all too common "hypebeast" of this generation is the one that copies everything they see in music videos, tv, and any other areas for ..... "inspiration". It's sort of like, now everyone is trying to express themselves through their clothes, their fashion, but it's hard to realize that when everyone looks exactly the same. While I'm not objecting to majority of peoples new found love for fashion, the question comes to mind.... are you buying these things, wearing these things because you like them . . and these clothes define your fashion intrests or because your new favorite music artist has it so now you feel the need to get a replicated version of what they have? The hip - hop music of today, as it always has.. has a HUGE affect on its listeners fashion sense, is this a good thing ? a bad thing ? or a bit of both ? In a way you can think of it as , hey that's pretty cool , all of you look cool. Then you can look at is as, man y'all are just following a trend because it's popular right now, thus comes the term "hypebeast" : just following a trend because it's "cool". . what do you think about it all ?
ASHER ROTH - so , most know him for "I love college" but that's only the beginning . . he has other songs better than that one . . (just because its not on the radio doesn't mean it isn't dope.) He makes statements, and if more people knew of him . . he would be R I C H (er). Songs like "Cannon", "Y.O.U." are just some . . but i advise you to listen . . - Bringin hip - hop to the burbs .
