Is it losing its edge ?

Hollister, Hco, Pacific Merchants
Call it whatever you want but it's the same thing, a clothing store . . but it's more than that, this store gives America a taste of casual "surf" apparel, if you didn't know Hollister is a county in California, which is where the name comes from. The clothes are mostly tee's with the Hollister title on it, surfer, bear(Mascot of California Flag), and most commonly the seagull. Last year 2009 and most of 2010 Hollister wasn't seen on just everyone like Aeropostale, only a few people at your school would have it, it was like something everybody wanted but no one had. But during the summer of 2010, people realized it wasn't that hard to buy Hollister, as long as you had a ride to a mall other than Southlake that retails Hollister you could get it easy . And prices in the store also started to go down which made it more afordable for people, but was that a good thing ? I mean better prices are good, but that gives everyone else an oppritunity for everyone and they mom to get it, which lessens the dope - ness. You don't want to come to school wearing the same exact shirt as someone else, thats just not cool . . so is it a good thing that hollister lowered its prices ? or is it hurting the ones that could buy Hollister a year ago before anyone had it ? ? Is Hollister becoming the new Aeropostale ? ?

Taylor's vs. Differenters . .

vs. Some say taylor gang or die . . but, some are say it's dope to be a differenter . But which is the best ? i Mean it's a hard choice, because they're both equally popular . . but, from different regions so their music is very different . Wiz. Khalifa has more freestyle verses . . but Travis Porter's music is repetitive . One similarity both share though is that their style is like one big movement . . in Georgia i Would say most people know more about travis porter than wiz. khalifa . . so Travvy's style is influenced everywhere in GA people go to waffle house more . . at one point shopped at h&m alot . . the Adidas movement started mostly because of them, people went to american eagle and lenox alot . i Guess you can say they are very influential to people in atlanta and around it . Also on the radio in Georgia i Doubt you will hear alot if any wiz.khalifa but, on stations like Hot 107.9 i'm positive you'll here plenty of travis porter . . wiz. khal...

"The Hypebeast"

When you think of a hypebeast, in the culture that surrounds you . . what comes to mind ? Any particular trends that it seems that everyone follows ? Whether it's a fashion trend, to a drug trend. . anything ? While some people struggle with people trying to "be cool" by doing things with illegal substances, or sexual things . . the all too common "hypebeast" of this generation is the one that copies everything they see in music videos, tv, and any other areas for ..... "inspiration". It's sort of like, now everyone is trying to express themselves through their clothes, their fashion, but it's hard to realize that when everyone looks exactly the same. While I'm not objecting to majority of peoples new found love for fashion, the question comes to mind.... are you buying these things, wearing these things because you like them . . and these clothes define your fashion intrests or because your new favorite music artist has it so now you feel ...
